Thank goodness for the straightener.
No matter how careful I was I would get up in the morning after a night of diamond painting to find the drills sometimes move sideways. As not all drills are the same size you will get some gaps even tho you are using the “square “ ones.
Don’t get me wrong, I love these diamond paintings but I do have a bit of OCD.
Not sure I would suggest this to anyone with a stronger OCD, you will not sleep keeping the lines straight💝

This one is for my grandson who is a “must”.
I thought I would really like these, but I found them more of a hindrance. I had a hard time getting the drills into the holes perfectly so that when I lifted the ruler the drills wouldn’t pop up with it.
I did a custom for my niece's wedding. When it first came in I thought there's no way in the world it was going to look the way that it did. It came out beautiful.
I like the straightening tool...it does help. What would help is if that tool came in smaller sizes...that way it would fit in various places. I’ve used it on the edge when placing drills...it came out so much better.
wish I had known about these kits earlier. they are fascinating and really fun to do. I start working on it and before I know it, an hour and a half has gone by. I pplam on getting another one when this one is done.
I have been looking for the tool that helps you straighten the lines after you have put them down, sometimes they can get un-even. The picture I’m doing is full drill, and the backgrounds all the same color so if it is a bit crooked it showed. The white tool in the package did just what I needed it to do. I haven’t tried the other two tools yet ( helping you lay the drills down straight in the first place) I will a bit later.
